\r\nIn the midst of the Korean War in 1951, the Geoje Island POW camp is the largest of its kind. The newly appointed warden plans a project to form a dance team of war prisoners to improve the camp's external image. The team consists of \"Ro Gis of the Korean People's Army,\" the camp's biggest troublemaker; \"Yang Panen,\" an unauthorized interpreter from Manchuria who speaks four languages; \"Kang Byung-sam,\" a Korean civilian POW looking for his missing wife; \"Xiaopang,\" a Chinese POW with dancing skills but malnourished; and \"Jangsun,\" a Chinese POW with a strong sense of humor.
